The religious roots of theatre involved a wide range of experience, including dance, ritual, feasting and regular observation. To highlight the origins of this celebration, not only were the disciplines of drama and culinary arts combined, it was also observed on the actual holiday. Extending all the way into our 21st century and the computer age, this ancient tradition was explored in many forms, from altar building to Internet research.
