A few tips to help keep you healthy:

Hello Highland Park Families!

 

My name is Pam Rago and this is my fifth year at Highland Park as your Family Support Worker.  As a Family Support Worker, my goal is to strengthen our students’ academic success by working together with parents, school staff, and community members.

Family Focus Service Plan and Outcomes:

ü      Classroom preparation:  Encourage student-improvement strategies and provide students with supplies to enhance classroom performance.

ü      Homework:  Provide homework kits and resources for increased homework success.

ü      Attendance and Tardies:  Support student and families with daily on-time attendance.

ü      Mobility:  Support continuous student enrollment by facilitating overall family stability.

ü      Suspensions:  Support families and students to prevent suspensions.

 

Parent/Family Involvement:

ü      Partner with families to develop strategies that they can engage in to support the educational process of their child.

 

Support families so that their children come to school ready to learn:

ü      Provide community information and resources for clothing, shoes, food, health insurance, counseling, medical, vision, dental and housing stabilization.
