September 12, 2007 Well, we are into the first full week of school and we are
already busy. Your child has taken a Fall Math assessment test and a Reading
assessment test. Students have
brought in artifacts from home and shared them with the class. They have made
shields with information about themselves. They are about to create a shadow
box about their lives. Math and
Reading lessons have been going on daily. Homework started the first day of
school and your child should be showing you their work and getting your
signature on it. We have wasted no time getting down to learning. Thank you for sending them ready to learn.
