15, 2008 Dear
Families, This weekend I will
finally be getting married! My fiancé and I will be getting married in a small ceremony at our
house surrounded by our family. With
our new baby and three children from his first marriage we will be an
official family of SIX!! Woohoo! Starting next week my name will change from
Ms. Blood to Mrs. Medalia. As
a reminder...Each child will come home with a folder every WEDNESDAY. It will contain information from the school
and homework on BLUE paper. They MUST
write their names on it, if they don’t it will end up in the garbage. Homework should not be done in one
night. It will come home on a
Wednesday in their folders and should be returned the NEXT Wednesday. Many forms from the school will need to be
filled out and returned. Please look
over all of these papers and return the FOLDER and any necessary papers on
Thursday but KEEP the homework to turn in the following Wednesday. Last
week we started using our “behavior chart”.
It has been going very well. At
first a lot of students were “changing their color” but now only two or three
have to in one day. Each day, every
student starts on green (start each day anew!) You can help by asking your child what
COLOR they ended the day on. They
should know what they all mean.
Reinforce our school wide rules of making good choices, solving my
problems, and showing respect. Thank
