At first we dreaded the fact that we were assigned to the Hamilton site. "Hamilton?" we thought! "We go here everyday. We know everything there is to know about it." Well, we were wrong. We didn't know that is was built in 1927 and opened the same year. We found it fun and partially entertaining to go around and take pictures of Hamilton and also interview staff members and whoever could give us insight. We have all agreed that we didn't enjoy writing the interview script, but loved the recording process - the educational period of how to use the equipment, and obviously, when we used it. The interviewing was great and we found both the subjects' answers interesting. To get a few new and different points of view of the school and to hear stories of Hamilton WAY before we came here and how things changed was educational and informational. Two members experienced what it's like to be in Jack Straws' studios during the process of making the CD. We are glad we got to be a part of this project and we appreciate Jack Straws' commitment.
