My
10th birthday was when I first came to Seattle with my family. My birthday is
in April,. On that day after school I went home, and I opened the door of the
living room. It was so dark that I thought my family was out. When I turned
on the light I saw my family, my uncle's family, and lots of presents on the
table, and heard my family singing a birthday song. I was so surprised. When
I walked to the kitchen, I smelled some foods and cookies. I looked around the
kitchen and saw one big and beautiful birthday cake. I was so happy. After that
I helped my mom cook some more food for dinner. When we finished, my family
and my uncle's family ate dinner together. I tasted the chicken and noodle,
and it was good. When we finished dinner, I tasted my birthday cake with my
family and my uncle's family, and it was very good. After that I helped my mom
clean the kitchen and I could hear my family and my uncle's family talking and
laughing in the living room. After I cleaned the kitchen with my mom, I went
to the living room and played games with my sister and cousins. At 10:00, my
uncle's family went home. After that I touched my present and opened it. There
were games, a book and pencils. After I opened all my presents my mom walked
in and gave me a red envelope. When my mom went to sleep I touched the red envelope
and saw $50 inside! I was so happy and tired on my birthday so I went to sleep
right away.
