    The Japanese-American Internment all started in 1942 when Japanese forces unexpectedly bombed Pearl Harbor.  Franklin Roosevelt issued and order that would have all citizens in the western united states of Japanese decent to be "evacuated" to internment camps, which in actuality were concentration camps.  Although not as bad as the ones in German at the time but were still unacceptable living conditions.  They were given little food small housing and were kept inside of barbed wire fences for several years.  To many this was the most horrifying experience of their lives.
