Important Notice:  Senior Project deadlines have been decided!  See due dates below.  The Senior Project Coordinator for 2006-07 will be Debo Tolentino.  She can be found in room 102 across from the Teen Health Center and Counseling Office.  Her phone number is 252-3714 and her e-mail is djtolentino@seattleschools.org if you have any questions.

In order to fulfill graduation requirements seniors must complete a senior project.  They will have the opportunity to spend time learning a new skill that is of particular interest to them.  Senior project is designed to encourage life-long learning, so the project should be as fun, challenging, stimulating, fulfilling, and rewarding as possible.  Information packets that include all details of the project may be downloaded from the following links:

All seniors (including full-time running start students) should keep in regular contact with their Nathan Hale mentors about the progress of their work.  Running Start students who don’t have a mentor should contact Debo Tolentino to find out who is their mentor for the senior project.  Please note the important deadlines below:
 
November 8th:  Proposals are due to Ms. Tolentino in room 102

November 8th:  Expert Advisor Interviews due.  Show to your mentor teacher only.
 
January 24th:  Research Assignment due.  Show to your mentor teacher only.
 
March 28th.:  Notebooks are due to Ms. Tolentino in room 102.  The research assignment and expert advisor interview will be graded when you turn in your notebook.  Your notebook must pass in order to present on the exhibition night.
 
April 20th.:  The dry run and tech check form is due to Ms.Tolentino in room 102.
 
The exhibition night will be May 16th..
