Academic honesty
1.Send out to staff to be shared with students, and all senate
1. What is wrong with the old one?
2. Only count IT as one? Don’t count it as double- only one absence
3. Attendance contracts
a. Attendance increased after this policy
b. ESIS new attendance system- adding something- more accurate, frequent?
4. parents reported by amount of absences- numbers not worse than years ago?
5. starting later affects sports and excused absences- losing participation points

14. Problems with auto-dialer and attendance office
a. Parents can only change unexcused absences to excused
b. Only one attendance secretary monitors attendance system and takes calls from parents, talks to teachers about field trips, etc.
c. Too many reports about attendance
15. Teacher initiates referral to administration and then student can sign contract
16. System does not tell teachers until a couple days later if absence is excused or not
17. Customize contracts for certain students – 1 student, 1 contract
