Calendar Note: This dress rehearsal is during the week of mid-winter break which is why I requested fewer tickets; typically I have a harder time getting students to come to the show held during this week. That being said, this is a terrific opera to see, especially for first timers. It is a standard in the opera repertoire and features an ending that rivals Pagliacci in terms of it shock value and tragedy.
