The students of performance group number three addresses our theme “Global Power Is a Question of Balance,” through music and poetry. Our own Luke C. wrote the music that he used and the title of the song is called “Protest,” which iincorporates many ideas of what life is like today in Latin America.  He tells us and only us that it “makes you feel why you would want to protest.”  The other original musical piece, by Charlie L., accompanies Javin as he reads “Rain,” a poem by Clarabel Alegria about memories the rain brings out.  The other two members of the group, Maria and Kaylie  recite another Alegria poem for us, entitled “Flowers from the Volcano.”  The performance includes a power point presentation, which will periodically flash images of our theme.  So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
