The second performance group uses drama to show the theme "Global Power Is a Question of Balance." They act out a dialogue between a United States businesswoman " She thinks globalization is a great way to blend cultures"- Leah M., and an indigenous Zapatista. "The Zapatista represents all of the native people in Mexico and all those being oppressed by globalization." says group member Raeanna. They try to show both sides of globalization by showing a balance in power. The businesswoman, who represents corporate America and the pro-globalization ideas, and the Zapatista, who represents those who protest the loss of indigenous land, debate about the pros and cons of globalization. "Lady Justice is who we all wish we could be like but can't because of greed and pride," is how Merideth A.describes her character. Lady Justice freezes the scene at certain intervals to give an objective view of the situation. She poses questions like, "Is it better to have on economy where it might be stable for all, but totally disregard culture, or should our traditions be preserved by keeping these separate?" This is acted out in front of a slideshow where images of globalization, both good and bad, are being projected.
