Western Washington UniversityI have managed the Nathan Hale Career Center since 1984. I attended Western Washington University my freshman year, dropped out because I lacked career goals, and later completed a B.A. in Sociology at the University of Washington (summers and evenings for six years).
The Career Center offers a variety of services. College handbooks, catalogs, brochures, and scholarship applications (mostly for seniors) are housed in the Career Center. I work with students on career & college research, scholarships, resumes and job applications. There is a job board (mostly for students 16+). I coordinate the Tech Prep programs.
Colleges are scheduled in the Career Center, mostly in the fall. I also promote college/career fairs/field trips. I advertise many career/college/leadership programs. Students are encouraged to listen to the daily bulletin for opportunities. College applications/financial aid forms and SAT /ACT registration packets are here.
The Career Center is located north of the library and is open Monday through Wednesday. I'm available before and after school, during break and lunch and by appointment .
