Music
Greenwood School maintains a commitment to integrating music into every student's education. Several times during the year the school shares its musical talents with families and friends.
The PTA funds Ms. Suzanne Grant, our choral music teacher. Each class has a half-hour music session once a week. Students learn music theory, play rhythm instruments, sing songs, and play musical games. This year Ms.
Grant will offer opportunities for interested students to join a primary or intermediate choir. There is no charge for participating.
The School District provides one day a week of instrumental music instruction for 4th and 5th graders. Mr. Frank Seeberger teaches interested students band and orchestra instruments. There is no additional charge for this program, although students must provide their own instruments. Families seeking assistance with instrument rental should contact the Family Support Worker,
Lisa Clawson at 252-1406.
