Before becoming Greenwood’s
librarian, I taught kindergarten, 5th
grade, ESL, and computer technology in a few
Seattle schools. Greenwood is my favorite
because of its family-like atmosphere and
because the teachers bring treats every Friday
before school. When I’m not at Greenwood, I
might be at a Mariners game, traveling, watching
my dog dive under water looking for rocks, or
catching up on my reading.
I strive to facilitate a
love of literature in all students, and I enjoy
the lively discussions we have about the books
we read. In the library, students also learn a
variety of methods to seek information about our
constantly changing world.
