"Pay 4 K" Kindergarten
All full-day kindergarteners are enrolled either as "no-fee" students or "full-fee" students. If your questions are not answered below, contact the kindergarten registrar, Sue Daley, at 252-1404.
In order to be eligible as a "no-fee" student, the family income must be equal to or less than those listed below:

All other families will pay $2,000 per year, per full-day kindergarten student. The fee is payable in ten monthly installments of $200 each, beginning in September. If you made an enrollment deposit, it will be credited to your account next June. If you wish to pay the full fee by Friday, September 20, you will receive a 5% discount and your total will be $1,900, minus your deposit.
Fee payments are due in the school office on or before the 1st of each month. No billing statements will be mailed. Payment may be in cash or by check made out to the Seattle School District. A $20 late fee will be charged if payment is not received by the 10th of the month. Payment by a NSF check will be considered a non-payment and a $20 fee will be charged. A pattern of late payment will result in referral to a collection agency and placement of the student in a half-day program.
The pro-ration of fees at the time of enrollment or withdrawal will be as follows:
Enrollment on the 1st-15th - full monthly fee
Enrollment on the 16th-31st - half monthly fee
Withdrawal on the 1st-15th - half monthly fee
Withdrawal on the 16th-31st - full monthly fee
Fee credit is not granted for temporary absences.
