Uniform Policy:

Emerson Elementary is a uniform school. All students from kindergarten through fifth-grade are expected to wear uniforms everyday. Free dress days are usually the last Friday of the month, however, this may be changed due to school programs.

Girls: Navy blue pants (not jeans), skirt, skort, or jumpers with a white blouse or shirt. The white shirt must have a collar and be able to be tucked in.

Boys: Navy blue slacks (not jeans) and white shirts with a collar. The shirt must be able to be tucked into the pants.

Fit: Pants and slacks need a standard straight leg, a waist that is no more than 2" larger than the actual waist size. The hem should be just above the shoe line. Belts must be worn if the pants have belt loops. Buckles should not display an insignia. Jeans and sweat pants are not acceptable and shirts are to be worn tucked in.
