Course Description
· Short overview-Daily Oral Language, Reading, Writing, and Maps.
· Special projects, or other unique experiences as a part of class-The Seattle Project.
· Expected Outcomes (As a result of taking this class, a student will be able to…) - understand the meaning of what is read, and to write clearly and effectively.
· Assessments used-observations, tests, grades, and portfolios.
· Materials used -- a variety of Literature short stories, computer projector and camera.
· The learning experiences planned will enable students to view concepts, issues, events, and themes from the perspective of diverse ethnic and cultural groups.
