Concord Overview
Welcome to Concord International School.

This is an exciting year at Concord International School as we begin our first year as an International School and implement another grade level (2nd grade) to our Dual-Language program. As an International School we have created curriculum maps and lessons that build on the cultural diversity of our families in our school, surrounding community, and the world.

To ensure that our students learn about the diverse perspectives of the world our teachers have identified a continent focus at each grade level. Infusing a global perspective into learning and activities is supported through our Art/Drama, Library/Technology, Physical Education, and After-school programs. We believe by working together we highlight the diversity and skills present within our community and beyond.

This global perspective informs our work with students and ultimately ensures that we provide our students with an excellent and culturally relevant curriculum. Our international program prepares our students with the skills for middle school, high school, college, and ultimately to learn and work in a global society.

Community Learning Center
Concord partners with the YMCA to provide extended day tutoring, homework support and enrichment programs for 2nd – 5th grade students through our CLC After school program. Parents attend evening ESL classes as part of the Center’s program sponsored by Family Partnerships members and community agencies. Email YMCA for more information.
