Our rooms are known as the technology rooms due to the large number of computers which are used in many subject areas.

Homework

The fifth grade students have homework Monday through Thursday.

Each day they must:

1. Read for 1/2 hour. Write down what book they read and how many pages they read in their planner and have it signed by a parent.
   
2. Monday nights they have writing. They are expected to write one full page usually about what they want to write. Sometimes they will have a writing assignment.
   
3. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays they have math homework, which is usually a math worksheet. They also must practice their multiplication facts!

Fieldtrips

The fifth grade goes on many fieldtrips to enhance the classroom learning with real world learning.
