The Mission of Coe School PTA is to develop an involved, diverse community that supports quality education and responsible citizenship for all Coe children.
To accomplish our mission, the Coe PTA will:
- encourage and promote parent involvement.
- support the Coe staff.
- develop a collaborative community of students, staff, parents, neighbors, businesses and alumni.
- raise funds to enrich a quality education.
PTA Involvement
The Coe PTA sponsors many events that enrich the learning of Coe students. To support these endeavors, the PTA holds a Move-a-thon, Giving
Mail Campaign, and an Auction. Funds are also raised throughout the year through several additional activities, for example, the sale of pavers, and Coe t-shirts. The PTA sponsors many arts, literature, science, and math enrichment programs, World Languages and Culture at Coe: a before school language program, and a holiday food drive. In addition, the PTA also provides transportation support for field trips and after school programs, project grants for teachers, and a discretionary fund for each staff member.
Parent participation is welcomed and encouraged at Coe. Parents are needed in Coe classrooms, the library, for tutoring students, and for special PTA sponsored projects. Please fill out the volunteer survey that is in the first day packet and return it to school with your child. You are needed and welcomed at Coe Elementary School!
