Project: Maya Weaving paintings w/ tempura & watercolor
Art learning: Students looked at the beautiful Maya woven fabrics and the backstrap looms. We are learning about color - primary & secondary. By painting with yellow, red, blue - they created their own patterns and discovered new colors in the process.
