Open a Word Document, and write a list of the
6-10 criteria you believe should be considered when a person tries
to decide if a website is a reliable, scholarly, and appropriate for school
research.
|Note: You may use criteria from the sites in Step 2 to build
your list, or you may invent your own criteria.|

a.) Choose two of the following websites:

b.) Copy/Paste the sentence below twice onto
your Word document (created in Step 3):

c.) Complete the sentence twice, once
for two different sites.

a.) Read over your list of 6-10 criteria.
b.) Answer these questions in complete sentences
on your Word document:
- Did your list help you in step four?
- What criteria should be added/deleted to make it truly
useful?
c.) Make changes to your list based
on your answers.

is time, complete Step 6 below. Otherwise, go to Step 7.

b.) Using your list of 6-10 criteria, choose
which of the pair/trio would be the better choice for a student doing
research.
c.) Write the URL of the site you think is better, and write
a sentence or two (using your list of criteria) explaining your choice.

Be sure your name is on top.
