C. Wales Foundation Night Among Heroes Dinner
The
Thomas C. Wales Foundation Night Among Heroes Dinner was held
on October 3, 2009. The 4 students honored were Molly Freed,
Travana King, Darvell Maund, and Rina Mikuri. They were nominated
by their peers in Global Leadership class as strong leaders
and they were selected by a committee to attend the dinner.
They met Congressman McDermott - he gave them some advice: "If
there are two things that you do when you are young, they are
to learn another language and to travel abroad."
