IB Booster Group

The Chief Sealth International Baccalaureate Booster Group is an active parent and community group that is focused on helping build and sustain a vibrant IB program at Chief Sealth High School.

As an organization, we raise awareness of the IB program within the community and generate funds for IB related expenses including: financial assistance to students for IB exam fees, hospitality for IB events, assistance for retreats and field trips, faculty appreciation and IB recognition programs. Our mission is to remove barriers to participation for all Chief Sealth students, and to provide and support and recognition for the students as they challenge themselves within the IB program.

What does the Chief Sealth IB Booster Group do?

• Fosters IB program development and long-term sustainability
• Provides ongoing program support and student recognition
• Removes financial barriers to student participation
• Increases awareness of the IB program within the community
• Extends the international experience to the broader community
