Ms. Frederick Room 114B

 

 

I am a kindergarten teacher here at Broadview Thomson in room 114b.  I am very passionate about teaching itself and am constantly finding ways to enrich the classroom experiences with field trips, visitors and experiences that complement the classroom instruction in all subjects.  I have traveled and lived in China, Korea, Bali, and Mexico and always include cutural studies of our world in my lessons.  I love for families to be an active part of the classroom.  I am always available to families and want them to feel welcome in the classroom.   I include music, puppets and visual arts alongside the regular subjects of literacy, math and science. Building a classroom community is a vital part of the classroom through teaching values/virtues as part of the classroom lesson design.
