The B.F. Day Elementary School Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt entity formed to supplement regular school district funding sources. The Alliance for Education administers the foundation. The foundation's activities and money are overseen by the school's Site Council. Money raised through the foundation is used for a variety of educational purposes, including arts and computer projects, and other direct educational needs.
The Foundation is classified as an accepted non-member agency of the United Way of King County under the Alliance for Education. Donors may designate donations to the B.F. Day Elementary School Foundation/Alliance for Education through the United Way of King County. Donations can also be made through B.F. Day School or the Alliance for Education.
