Building Leadership Team (BLT)

Mission Statement of the BLT

The mission of the Alki Building Leadership Team is both a recommending and a decision-making body charged with leading in three domains of school governance: the Transformation Plan, professional development, and the budget related to this plan. More specifically, through the means of representative groups and collaborative groups the BLT will:

• develop the goals of the Academic Achievement Plan (Transformation Plan – School Improvement Plan)
• determine the topics of professional development that support the plan
• make budget decisions related to the Transformation Plan
