We want to help provide the best possible school experience for every Alki child. The Alki PTA encourages all parents, staff, and community members who support that goal to join the PTA and become involved at a level and in a way that fits your time and talents. Our vision it only as diverse and complete as our membership!
It’s simple to join:
- Look for a membership form in your child’s take home package at the beginning of the school year.
- Forms are also available at the school office and online here.
Send your completed form and membership payment back to school with your child, drop it in the PTA mailbox outside the school office or send it to our secure mail box (donated by Alki Mail and Dispatch, thank you!):

Getting involved with PTA
The Alki PTA’s ability to deliver the depth of programs and activities we sponsor depends on the volunteer efforts and contributions of our parent community. There are many ways to be involved with PTA activities, both during and outside of school hours. Here are just a few:
- Sign-up for our school email list (if you haven’t already, you can do so here)
- Attend meetings and share your ideas and opinions
- Organize or help with PTA activities and fundraising events
- Offer grant writing and professional services
