Alki PTA Fundraising
None of the activities, events, and staff support provided by the PTA would be possible without raising funds. This year Alki PTA will contribute over $75,000 to the enrichment of our students’ educational experience. This is done through several key events and activities. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these events, please contact the chairperson listed on the PTA Contact List. You can also check our Current Needs to find out our most urgent requests.
Fall Auction
Our annual auction is held yearly in November. This wonderful evening raises a significant part of our budget for the year. There are many opportunities to get involved from procuring items to helping with art work to volunteering to work the evening of the auction helping to make it all come together. Scrip and E-Scrip
The Alki PTA sells gift cards for many of your favorite stores and restaurants. Purchase a card from us and a portion of your spending dollars goes right back to help our kids at Alki. Get more information on using scrip and an order form here:

In addition, corporations such as Safeway offer programs that give funds back to schools based on your use of their product or services. To register you club card and other cards, visit http://www.escrip.com. Make sure to register to benefit Alki PTA.
Alkiathon
In the spring, we strap on our shoes and head outside to promote healthy habits and earn funds pledged by friends and family based on the number of laps completed. This fundraiser is a fun and exciting event for students and families. Direct Contributions & Matching Gifts
Alki PTA is a 501C3 tax-exempt and non profit organization. Donations of goods, services, and financial contributions made to Alki PTA are tax deductible as allowed by law. Don’t forget that many employers and organizations offer matching funds to these types of non-profit groups. Check out this list to see if you employer will match you contribution!
Box Tops for Education
Many products have a Box Top coupon incorporated in their packaging. Examples include cereal, Ziploc bags, toilet paper, Kleenex boxes, and snack foods. Clip these coupons and send them to school to be deposited in the appropriate container to earn a little extra cash for the PTA.
