Classroom projects
One of the highlights of the auction each
year is seeing the unique creations each classroom develops
and sells to the highest bidder. Usually inspired by the classroom's
expedition, these projects are among the most prized items in
our live auction.
Classroom projects are essential
for a successful auction—they have raised thousands
of dollars for the school over the years. Remember the flowerpots,
the mirrors, and the custom dog house from last year?

We are seeking one parent from each classroom
who can step forward and take the lead on his or her room’s
art project.
Do you have a creative flair? A desire to
connect with other skilled craftspeople and parent volunteers?
This
could be a
fun project for you. Your role would be to identify the resources
and talents available in your classroom and determine how
they might be used to create a desirable project related to
your
class expedition.
The project coordinator, Amy Bell, will be
available to help you brainstorm ideas, identify resources to
create
the project, and keep your
project on track for completion by early February.
You’ll
have a sense of pride on the big night when parents raise
their paddles to bring home the treasure you helped create.
So
step up, create a keepsake and help AE2/Thornton Creek School
meet its fundraising goal. Contact Amy
Bell.
Thank you!
