Money Matters

Funds raised each year at AE2/Thornton Creek School support several important areas, including:

• academic assistants in the classroom
• reduced class size (smaller math classes in upper grades);
• professional development for teachers (Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound, writing workshops, etc.);
• vocal, drumming and instrumental music;
• first-grade reading assistance;
• arts and expedition supplies;
• financial assistance to enable all children to participate in field trips, camps, etc.;
• playground supervision;
• technology/equipment; and
• library
