Code of Conduct
Respecting yourself:
- Work to the best of your ability
- Use acceptable language
- Use common sense and fair play in dealing with all situations
Respecting others:
- Be polite, courteous, and considerate at all items
- Treat other people's property as carefully as your own
- Know and respect the rights of others
Respecting your school:
- Use equipment and property properly
- Work and play in assigned areas only
- Eat and/or drink in the lunchroom only

All Scholars are expected to follow these rules and code of conduct. Those who do not abide by the rules and code of conduct will be helped to make the necessary changes in their behavior. This includes discussion with teachers and/or the principal, parental contact, loss of privileges, and/or assignment of same meaningful and appropriate task.

- Have the right to be happy and treated with understanding in this school.
- Have the responsibility to not laugh at others or to hurt their feelings.
- Have the right to be safe in this school.
- Have the responsibility to keep my hands and feet to myself.
- Have the right to hear and to be heard in this school.
- Have the responsibility to listen to others and wait my turn to be heard.
- Have the right to learn in this school, and to be free to express my feelings, opinions, and ideas.
- Have the responsibility to do the best I can, and to respect others' opinions, feelings, and ideas.
- Have the right to quiet times to learn and study in this school.
- Have the responsibility to be respectful of other people's time.
- Have the right to a reasonable amount of teacher attention and help when I need it in this school.
- Have the responsibility to respect that right for others, by not being demanding and using self-control.
- Have the right to use materials and property of this school.
- Have the responsibility to respect people and their property, and to share what is ours.
- Have the right to be happy and always be me.
- Have the responsibility to be sure others are happy because of me.
