School to Careers at JSIS

Why School to Careers?

• To expose youngsters to life options and career aspirations they might not encounter in their daily lives.
• To motivate achievement based on aspirations.
• To demonstrate how skills youngsters learn in school are applied/required in daily life.
• To involve students in identifying their own strengths and enthusiasms and in exploring careers that might provide satisfaction and an opportunity to contribute.
• To instill appreciation and respect for contributions that individuals can make in the community and in society.
