Hi,

I'm a 4th grade teacher at the John Stanford International School. This year I am teaching all of the reading, writing and social studies units for the fourth grade. Here's some information about me and and the work I do at JSIS.

Special Projects

Special projects we'll be doing in fourth grade this year include:

• Asia Unit
• Early Northwest Coast People Unit
• Writing/Reading: Reader's/Writer's Workshop, Writing Process, Persuasive Writing, Narrative & Expository Writing
• Penpals with students in Vietnam

Notes to Families

Needed:

1. a long arm stapler for classroom
2. incentive prizes (50¢) for the prize box

My Background

This is my third year at John Stanford International School. Other schools where I have worked include Highland Park and the Seattle School District Migrant Education Program. I have lived in Mexico and Kenya, and studied at Earlham College. I am fluent in Spanish and have a bilingual home.
