Student Assignment of International/Foreign Students

The Seattle School District admits as a student any person, regardless of national origin or citizenship, upon documentation that the student or parent/guardian resides within the boundaries of the Seattle School District.
Seattle Public Schools will not provide legal advice to families on immigration related issues.
Important: I-20 applications for F-1 visa status are no longer available.
Students who wish to attend a Seattle Public School on an F-1 visa can no longer be accepted after June 29, 2012. International students who wish to attend Seattle Public Schools should consider placement through one of the international student exchange programs which require a J-1 visa.
