Duggan Harman
Assistant Superintendent of Business & Finance
Mr. Harman directs the work of the District’s financial departments, including Budget, Accounting, Grants, Risk Management, Audit Response, Payroll and Enrollment Planning.
During his over 19 years with Seattle Public Schools, Harman has held positions on both the academic and operational sides of the organization. He managed the District’s extended school-year programs, was a program evaluator and handled budgeting for all academic programs. From 2009 through 2011, he served as the District's Executive Director of Finance.
Harman holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Idaho and a Master’s in Political Science (International Relations, with an emphasis in research methods) from Washington State University.
Married with two sons (ages 15 and 9), Harman spends his non-work time riding motorcycles and fly-fishing for steelhead trout.
