Subscribing to Calendar Feeds

Many calendars can share information using the ical format, including Google Calendar, Apple’s iCal application and now Outlook 2007.  

  1. When you find a web site that offers an iCal feed, right-click on the link and select Copy Link Address.
  2. In Outlook 2007, go to Tools then Account Settings, then click on the Internet Calendars tab.

  3. Click New, then paste the address you copied from step 1.

  4. Configure the feed options. You can leave all of the settings at their default values, then click OK.
     

  1. To show/hide your new calendars, check the boxes listed under Other Calendars in the left navigation bar.

  2. You can turn on overlay mode by going to View then clicking on View in Overlay Mode. You will then see all of your calendars layer in a layout similar to Gmail Calendars.
