Nathan Hale High School offers edible and ornamental plants for sale

Nathan Hale High School is offering edible and ornamental plants for sale May 7-11 at the school's annual sale. There will be a big inventory of organically grown vegetable starts and organically raised vegetable starts, perennials, hanging baskets, and bedding plants.

The plants are all grown by Nathan Hale's horticulture students, with all vegetables started from seed. The plants will be offered for sale at the school's greenhouse:

• 2-6 p.m., Tuesday, May 7
• 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, May 8
• 2-6 p.m., Thursday, May 9
• Closed, Friday, May 10
• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 11

The greenhouse is just north of Jane Addams K-8 School. Nathan Hale is at 10750 30th Ave. N.E., Seattle.

Directions to greenhouse from Lake City Way:
Turn eastbound onto 110th Street.
Turn left (northbound) onto 34th Avenue Northeast.
Drive past the school, then turn left into driveway.
The greenhouse is at the top of the hill.
