Third episode of School Beat TV airs Sunday, April 14; highlights success of 'Good Behavior Game' program in elementary schools

The third episode of “School Beat TV” begins airing on SPS-TV Cable Channel 26 (and streaming on the Web) on Sunday, April 14. (schedule below.)

This new episode highlights the success of the “Good Behavior Game” program in elementary school classrooms.

The program is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and by a grant from Seattle Positive Action and Reinforcement in the Classroom (SPARC). The Good Behavior Game is a proven, research-based classroom management model that provides teachers with an easy-to-use strategy that reduces disruptions and allows students to focus on learning.

Produced by the Seattle Public Schools Media Operations Center and hosted by KCTS host Enrique Cerna, the “School Beat TV” series presents information and profiles about the people and programs of Seattle Public Schools.
