Students win awards at state Health Occupations competition
Students from four high schools won awards at the Washington State Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) competition held March 23 at Pierce College.
The students were:
• First Place: Jessica Stott from Chief Sealth International - Sports Medicine (photo, bottom left).
• First Place: Casey Day from Roosevelt and Jordin Crook from Ballard - Health Career Posters (photo, bottom, middle).
• Third Place: Maria Garcia-Ruiz from Roosevelt and Alicia Fierro from Ingraham - Health Career Posters (photo, bottom right).
The other students who participated were Angel Sandoval from Ballard, Nicholas Goslin from Ingraham and Elizabeth Morales from Ballard.
