A message from the Superintendent

March 12, 2013

Good afternoon:

Superintendent Jose Banda

On Jan. 30, Governor Inslee proclaimed March 11-15 as Classified School Employees Week for 2013, setting aside the week to recognize the contributions of educational support professionals in the public school system.

I want to express my deepest thanks for the work you do every day. As the year goes on, I meet more and more of you. It’s been very clear that you not only do your jobs well, you also often are called upon to provide a listening ear or impartial sounding board when interacting with students.

Thank you for your dedication to maintaining school buildings, keepings students safe, assisting and supporting administrators, preparing and serving meals, assisting in the classroom or providing many other specialized services necessary to help our district support students. By supporting the learning environment, you are crucial partners to teachers, administrators and parents.

The entire district salutes you during Classified School Employees Week 2013.

Sincerely,

José Banda
Superintendent
