Nov. 9, 2012 | Audience: Families, Community, Staff | Contact: Communications (206) 252-0200

Nearly 400 Seattle Public Schools students will perform on stage at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall on Saturday, Nov. 10 as part of the Discover Dance program led by Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB).

Broadview ThomsonThe performance is a culmination of partnerships with Seattle schools Arbor Heights Elementary, Broadview-Thomson K-8, Highland Park Elemenatary, and Leschi Elementary.

Fourteen 1st- through 3rd-grade classrooms from these schools worked with their teachers and PNB teaching artists to create and perform original dances that connect to concepts from their curriculum.

Also featured in the performance are Broadview-Thomson 6th-grade musicians, REACH Student Dance Group, and PNB Company dancers.

For more information, contact Kayti Bouljon, Manager, Community Education Programs, Pacific Northwest Ballet, at (206) 441-2432 or kayti@pnb.org.
