$10,000 Headsprout grant to help expand Wing Luke Elementary's reading programs

A $10,000 Richard Bechtolt Scholarship from Headsprout will help expand Wing Luke Elementary's Early Reading (K-2) and Headsprout Reading Comprehension (3-5) programs.

HeadSprout provides computer-based learning programs for teaching fundamental academic skills. It offers online reading programs. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Seattle.

Headsprout Early Reading is an animated, online reading program that takes a non-reader to mid second-grade level in 80 lessons.

Headsprout Reading Comprehension is an online program that ensures Grades 3-5 reading comprehension for every learner in 50 interactive episodes.
