MAP test results have been recalibrated
When Seattle students take the computer-based MAP tests, the results are compared with students around the country. Our exam vendor has recently recalibrated Seattle students’ MAP percentile results to better measure how Seattle students have been performing relative to all the other students around the country who also took the tests. This practice of recalibration is common in standardized testing, and happens every several years. Individual student MAP scores, including the recalibrated percentiles, are available at The Source.
