Superintendent Search Committee seeking volunteers for focus group
Applications due 8 a.m., Wednesday, March 7
The Board of Directors of Seattle Public Schools is beginning its search for a new Superintendent. As part of the search, they are looking for approximately 25 volunteers to serve on a focus group to meet the three finalists for the job.
This group will be given the opportunity to participate in a facilitated discussion with each finalist candidate. The search firm consultants will report the feedback from the discussion to the Board. The members of the focus group will be selected by the Executive Committee on March 14, 2012. The meetings are scheduled to take place in late April.
If you would like to apply to be a member of the focus group, please email tlhale@seattleschools.org with the following information: name, contact information, organization affiliation (if any), and a maximum of one paragraph explaining your interest in being part of the focus group. The deadline for applications is 8 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
