Tran’s artwork, above, left, is incorporated as part of ICHS’s banner which now hangs outside the school-based health clinic serving SBOC and Nova High School.

Tran said her design is based on the Seattle World School logo and includes a globe shaped as a heart “because the heart is the symbol for love or life.”

Vu Duong, right photo, received third place for his creation of a smiling heart wearing a stethoscope. All three students created their work in teacher Lori Leberer's multimedia class.

ICHS is the largest Asian and Pacific Islander nonprofit community health center in Washington state. ICHS has two main locations: the Holly Park Medical & Dental Clinic in south Seattle and the International District Medical & Dental Clinic in Seattle’s Chinatown/International District.
