30th anniversary celebration to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy
The MLK Seattle Celebration Committee invites the public to join in the 30th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration Jan. 16 at Garfield High School. This year's theme to celebrate Dr. King Jr.'s legacy is "Recapturing MLK Jr's Revolutionary Spirit."
The event will honor Dr. King for his work toward racial equality and economic justice for all people, for his commitment to nonviolence, and for his stand against war and militarism.
