Emerson Elementary School PTA and Southwest Airlines teamed up and gave away 50 Thanksgiving dinner baskets at Turkey Bingo Night held at the school.

More than 150 people attended the event in which families played games of Bingo with the dinner baskets as prizes. A fun time was had by all including the many Emerson and Southwest Airlines volunteers who were on hand.

More than 85 percent of Emerson's families are on the free and reduced-price lunch program. The event brought families together for a fun-filled evening and provided support for some who otherwise would not be able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner this holiday season.
