Deadline for Reflections 'Diversity means ...' entries is Thursday, Dec. 1
The due date for all Seattle area Reflections entries is Thursday, Dec. 1 (not to be confused with the January deadline for Washington state). Reflections is a nationwide arts competition that starts at the local school levels and leads to state and national Reflections levels.
Individual Seattle PTA/PTSAs can submit the entries through Seattle Council PTSA 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dec. 1, at the John Stanford Center, 2445 3rd Ave. S.
Be sure all forms are filled out, signed and attached to entries. Literature, dance, film and music entries require two copies. If you are involved with or work in the arts (film, dance, photography, visual arts, music or literature) and might be available to lend your expertise and artistic eye to evaluate student art for an hour or two, please contact enrichment@seattlecouncilptsa.org.
A Refections student art exhibit will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11 at The Center School, 3rd Floor, Center House at Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St.
The free exhibit is open to all Seattle Public Schools families and friends of all ages.
